With all of the gel liners out there, what makes this one better than the rest? I like so many already on the market and was very happy that one of my favorite cosmetic companies came out with a new long-wear gel eyeliner called Liner Design Long Wear Calligraphy Gel Eyeliner from Lancôme. Liner Design is smudge-proof, water-proof and wears up to 12 hours so you don’t need to re-apply.
I love when a product has a practicality factor, don’t you? You can use your own liner brush or buy Lancôme’s Dual-End Liner & Smudger Brush #24, which is sold separately for $20.00 (pictured above). This liner lasts ladies! I used baby wipes to remove it as it did not budge with water (which shouldn’t, but, you know I had to test it for myself…and for you, too). It’s true even though there are good gel liners in the market right now not all of them have great staying power and that’s what I’m looking for. I don’t mind paying a little more for a gel liner especially if it does what is says. Long lasting and water proof ate a must. Great review on the liner. I can’t wait to try it! Thanks

Posted at 17:46h, 23 FebruaryI bought the Dress Up Teal and the brush as soon as it came out! I have a problem with one of my eyes constantly producing tears and always have to use waterproof liner. I always used Lancome’s Artliner before, but it would wear off in the corner where the tears tend to gravitate and I would have to try to dry it and touch up several times a day. Some days were so bad that I couldn’t wear liner at all! This new gel is fantastic! I dont have to touch up ever! It stays on, full color, even through my occasional blotting away of tears! And I have had many people compliment my makeup recently. I will be buying the black next and then I am sure I will get more colors too.
