Ellis Faas recently launched Milky Lips ($35.00), giving lips a more subtle and see-through finish — I was immediately intrigued by the packaging. Milky Lips are a liquid lipstick! The brush on top makes for an easy application. I learned the designs were based on her love of the military and how soldiers keep everything they need on their body; the items have a bullet-type shape to them, and can be ‘clipped’ together with specialty clips Ellis created. Clearly, you can see the tie in. Ellis Faas came from a special-effects background and her ads are also breathtakingly beautiful. To explore the brand further, go to www.ellisfaas.com.

I love the idea behind the Milkly Lips! The packaging alone is a super eye catcher and I can’t wait to try out my lipgloss. The range in shades are really nice and it’s always good finding a product created by a makeup artist of her standard.

LOVE the packaging, but I would never pay $35 for a lipstick/gloss.

The packaging is great but not the price.
