Need to add some super-sexy, glossy shine to your pout? Then you should definitely check out these awesome lip glosses by Heidi D Cosmetics!

Heidi D Cosmetics is a cosmetic company based out of Royal Oak, MI. The first set of glosses I tried were from their regular Lip Gloss Wand Collection. These glosses have white caps, and some black design on the clear part of the tube; there is a cute little pink set of lips at the top, and of course, on the bottom is the name of the shade with a convenient doe foot applicator. These retail for $14.00 each and come in shades like Pink Kitty (sampled) and Peach Pout (sampled). Pink Kitty seems to be more matte and Peach Pout has a medium amount of shimmer.

My lips may be considered a little more pigmented than others, so Peach Pout didn’t show up all that well — it looked more like a beautiful shine added to my lips. However, Pink Kitty is an absolutely gorgeous blued-toned, pink gloss — the color kind of reminds me of some of my favorite lipsticks, only as a gloss!

The Lip Gloss Wand Collection is called a “beauty treatment and a lip-illusion in one!” These glosses contain collagen peptides that speed cell renewal and increase your lips’ volume while safely and painlessly reducing lip-lines. I can’t say that I noticed these glosses plumping my lips at all or filling in fine lines, but none the less… they are really awesome! They are slightly tacky though. I would not say these are uncomfortably sticky, but the formula is almost like it “sets” and then a majority of the tackiness disappears.

The only lip gloss I tried from the Bossy Collection was the shade Detroit Diva. It’s a gorgeous nude-toned golden shade with tons of shimmer — a great your-lips-but-better type of color. This is a mixture of a lipstick and a lip gloss, so the formula claims to be a little creamier. I found this lip gloss to be great! It wasn’t sticky at all. I love the effect  it added to my lips. The price tag on a gloss from the Bossy Collection is $17.00 and these also come with a doe foot applicator as you can see in the pictures.

I would rate these lip glosses a 9 out of of 10, with 10 being the best. One thing to note would be that with the Bossy Collection, because the tubes are a little larger, you do not have so much of a controlled application as I would like, and it even seems a little flimsy (although the packaging is absolutely 100% sturdy and gorgeous).  See my video review below:

Would I recommend these glosses to you? Sure, if the price tag doesn’t bother you. They are a little expensive for a gloss but in my opinion, I feel as though it’s because of the ingredients and the claims that actually ring true that make these glosses exceptional. I absolutely love these glosses, and will consider purchasing from Heidi D Cosmetics in the future. As for length of wear, these lip glosses do not claim to be long wearing and are certainly not. They will last you a few hours before the pigmentation starts to wear off. However, even after hours and hours of use, there are still remains of lip gloss on your lips.

They have some other beauty items for sale on their website, www.heididcosmetics.com or at www.sixsalon.com. You can also buy Heidi D Cosmetics at select salons in the tri-county area. Please refer to the website for more information if you’re interested.
