Glitter nails are my kryptonite! No need for nail art when your fingers have uncontrollable, glittery shine. I can’t say no to a shiny, snowball-like bottle of nail polish with chunky bits of glitter. That’s why I couldn’t resist these glitter-infused Fall 2013 Collection nail polishes from KBShimmer Bath & Body.

With playful names like Clown Puke (seriously!), a multicolored birthday-inspired top coat, this line is for every nail enthusiast with a sense of humor. This fall season, get ready for some vampy colors with lots of glittery impact and shine.

The Nails Inc. London Autumn/Winter Collection introduces Foil, Modern Art, Galaxy, Gel, Fibre Optic, and Snowflake effect nail polishes. Check out PHOTOS/SWATCHES —> HERE!

KBShimmer custom blends their Nail Polish ($8.75 each) colors — they never buy pre-made polish and just add glitter. All colored nail polish and glitter top coats are 3-Free and do not contain toluene, formaldehyde or dibutyl phthalate.

The site even swatches each shade, letting you know in the lower right-hand corner how many coats it takes to achieve the desired glitter effect or if the top coat was applied over another nail polish color.

You Autumn Know is a grayish nude with flecks of chunky orange, gold and purple glitter. The glitter ranges in size from small to large octagon-shaped flecks and thin confetti-like bits. There is no need to search for the glitter, with each swipe of the brush your nails will be bursting with shimmer!

The other two nail polish shades are dark and striking: You Go Ghoul! is a deep black-red with flecks of the same kind but in purple and red shades. The base color is very opaque, achieved with just two coats.

Excuse Me, I Blurpled is a midnight blue polish with blue and purple glitter. I love this shade, but the darkness of the polish seemed to mask the glitter pieces… until you hit your nails under some light!

And, although I love my glitter polishes, the most dreadful part has to be taking it off! So, as much as I loved my manicure, I reluctantly soaked my cotton pad in A LOT of nail polish remover and swiped. It took a little time to remove, but not as bad as I thought.

The Formula X nail collection from Sephora is launching a 200 nail polish line containing Nail Polish Colors, Metallic, Holographic, Neon, Neutral, Glitter Finishes. See PREVIEW PHOTOS —> HERE!

It seems like the larger glitter flecks are easier to remove. The base color is the first to go (obviously) with tremendous ease. You might even find yourself picking off the glitter pieces with your fingernails, but try to refrain from doing so — you’ll mess up your nail! All in all, if you’re a fan of glitter, definitely give KBShimmer polishes a try.
