Earlier this month, we visited Cannes in the French Riviera. We loved everything about this beautiful beach town: the food, the people and most of all, the shopping! Now, as true beauty junkies, the first place we head to is the pharmacy. We do a lot of research beforehand on new, best-selling French beauty products and make sure to stock up. So when BeautyStat.com asked us to share our French beauty must-haves, we jumped at the chance! So why don’t we dive into it-shall we?

10 Best Drugstore Skincare Must-Have Products for Fighting Acne (Because We’re All Still Teenagers)

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentre: This facial lotion will forever hold a place in our beauty routine. We first tried this product about 3-years ago on a trip to Paris, and we’ve been hooked ever since. This rich moisturizer provides your skin with a smooth and silky finish. We love that this product plays double-duty as a fantastic makeup primer. Unlike traditional lotions, this one does not leave behind that sticky or oily residue on your face. We are over the moon that this moisturizer is slowly opening up their U.S. markets.

Bioderma Créaline H20: This French cleansing water has a cult following, and rightfully so. It is by far one of the best makeup removers we have ever used! It is nearly impossible to find this
cleansing water here in the U.S. We use this Bioderma product to take off all of our makeup — even stubborn water-proof mascara. If you have sensitive skin (or just want a break from your normal face wash), you can use this as a gentle daily facial cleanser.

Nuxe Réve de Miel: We can never have enough lip balm and have tried countless brands. Nuxe really knocks it out of the park with this lip product. No only is it super-moisturizing, but it creates a thick coating on your lips that stays for hours! This super-rich balm is perfect for those chapped winter lips or sunburnt summer puckers, and everything in between. Plus, it smells like honey. Who wouldn’t like that?

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet: We are always on the hunt for fun and innovative beauty products, so we made it our mission this vacation to seek out this particular one. We wouldn’t necessarily call this product a traditional lipstick — it’s more like a liquid lipstick. This product easily glides onto the lips and leaves behind a matte color. It is a very buildable product, so if you want a sheer tint or a very vibrant color, this lipstick will become your best friend. This color is 02 Frambourjoise, which is a gorgeous raspberry-red.

Phyto Secret de Nuit Intense Hydration Regenerating Night Cream: We try to take care of our hair especially during the summer when it’s constantly exposed to the UVA/UVB rays. This Phyto overnight cream will rehydrate, recondition and rejuvenate our hair from the harsh elements it endures during the day. All you got to do is take a dime-sized amount and apply it to your hair (dry or wet) and allow it to absorb. Your hair will instantly feel softer, smoother and shinier.

There you have it, our 5 favorite French beauty products! We would love to hear some of your favorite international beauty products, too. Tweet us at @passtherouge or follow us on Instagram at Passtherouge for fun photos. As the French say, Á Bientôt!
