19 Sep Clinique Debuts Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer
If you thought having dark spots and hyperpigmentation was hellish, then join 25% of women in the U.S. who suffer from the same maladies. Clinique’s studies have found that UV damage was the major cause of this.
The new Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer has SPF 20– naturally– and is a multi-pronged hydrating cream that treats skin from current and future discoloration.
How does the cream do this? By strengthening the skin barrier against the harmful sun’s rays. By repairing and rebuilding the skin barrier, it helps skin fight harsh external irritants like Brad Pitt in Inglorious Bastards.
Since hydration also is one of the key causes of hyperpigmentation, the cream aims to deliver this promise as well. Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer also has Ellagic Acid and Vitamin C; apple extract; advanced yeast blend; turmeric root extract; sucrose (to attract and maintain moisture levels); UVA absorber Avobenzone and UVB absorber Octisalate.
Clinique says this cream is appropriate for skin types 1, 2 and 3. We cannot wait to try it (our jar JUST arrived) and will keep you posted on if it really and truly does the job.
The cream hits counters in October and will retail for $42.50.
