Clinique’s newest advanced technology helps create your best skin ever with a serum that was precisely formulated for one skin in the world – yours! The Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum is formulated with several technologies that work together to deliver custom repair as needed, where needed, for all ages and all ethnicities.

How It Works: Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush – Contains 2 Types Of Bristles For Targeted Cleansing

Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum uses platinum standard precision repair technology to repair the damage you see and even the damage you don’t see, delivering custom repair that visibly addresses skin’s changing needs. Clinique Smart works best where skin needs it most, with visible improvement in treating uneven skin tone, dark spots, dullness, lines and wrinkles or firming after 12-weeks.

How The Technology Works Smartly

Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum provides custom repair by targeting the damage you see and the damage you don’t see. When damage occurs, your skin sends signals to nearby cells asking for the technology it needs to help repair itself. Our skin has a multitude of signals that it uses; there is constant cell signaling that occurs between the cells and different varieties of cells in the skin.

Some examples of signals include interleukin signals; our skin has over 30 cell communication molecules between inflammatory cells and skin cells. Another example is prostaglandin: our skin has over two-dozen signals that alert the pro and anti-inflammatory cells in our skin. Think of each type of damage in the skin like a lock that requires the right specialized repair molecule, or key, for repair. The technologies in Clinique Smart respond to these signals like a key fitting into a lock. The keys are only activated as a result of understanding the specific distress signal that they respond to, but are always ready to adjust to your skins ever-changing needs.

How The Serum Targets And Knows Where To Go

The serum uses an advanced formulation technology to target the repair for your unique skin damage. The specialized repair molecules only activate as a result of sensing the specific distress signal that they respond to. Until then, the technologies in Clinique Smart are always ready to adjust and respond to your skin’s ever-changing needs. Available on www.clinique.com.

Cosmetic Chemist Assessment:

“As a cosmetic chemist, I’ve seen other products on the market that claim to be “smart”.  These products often contain a blend of ingredients that address different skin needs without providing a mechanism to specifically target a problem (i.e. the product acts more by random, rather than smart).

What Clinique has done is uncovered the fact that when your skin cells get damaged and need repair, they send out signals. The technologies in Clinique Smart respond to these signals like a key fitting into a lock. The keys are only activated as a result of understanding the specific distress signal that they respond to but are always ready to adjust to your skins ever-changing needs.” – Ron Robinson
