As a veteran cosmetic chemist, I always love to review innovative, new products. And Dove brings a true innovation to the market with Dove Shower Foam.

It’s the brand’s first foaming body wash with a soft, airy lather for superior care. And the product delivers 250 pumps per bottle. Each press of the pump delivers a lightweight foam for easy application by hand.

Ingredients:

The formula combines Dove’s NutriumMoisture technology (a blend of lipids and moisturizers) along with gentle cleansers (Sodium Lauroyl Glycinate and Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate). Together, these ingredients work to cleanse while minimizing dryness and damage.

Ingredient Listing:

Water (Aqua), Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Lauroyl Glycinate, Lauric Acid, Fragrance (Parfum), Polysorbate 20, Sodium Laurate, Phenoxyethanol, PPG-9, Citric Acid, Stearic Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate

Available In:

Shea Moisture, Deep Moisture, Cucumber & Green Tea Scent and Sensitive Skin

Cosmetic Chemist Assessment:

The instant foam action makes this product very easy to use. No need to work the product into a lather with a puff or mitt, it comes out ready to be applied with your hands alone. The foam has a nice texture, it cleans well and rinses easily. Skin is left smooth.

I’ve just finished using 2 bottles, one “Lavender”, the other “Cucumber & Green Tea”. Love the foam with “Lavender” my favorite. The “Cucumber & Green Tea” was more watery and used faster. Before picking up 2 more bottles, I thought I’d check or compare the ingredients’ effect on my skin. No complaints, just verifying no harm as I read ingredients unknown to me.
