Obsession of the Moment: Korres Milk Proteins Face Cleansing Wipes (30% Discount for BeautyStat Readers) Review

During the cooler months, hydration for our face and body becomes a challenge of Olympic proportions. Korres, the Greek brand with a passion for bottling only the finest of natural ingredients (yes, including milk!) and we have totally become addicted to their latest offerings: Milk Proteins Cleansing Wipes (GREAT for travel and TSA friendly), their Milk Proteins Cleansing Foam, and their summer-inspired body washes in Fig, Guava, Jasmine and Basil.

Now — let me tell you first off that I am NOT a Milk kind of gal. I’m vegan, and totally love my Soy Delicious (anyone else feel the same way I do?). So MILK-based products are not my first line of defense. But the last time I used Korres’ Cleansing Wipes (in the Wild Rose variety), I was instantly smitten. It not only cleanses your face ever so gently, it removes every trace of makeup too, so you don’t have to go around carting your Lancome’s Bi-Facil everywhere.

We also tried to take pretty pictures of these products with our new Nikon D-90 so we could show you how pretty the packaging is. The Milk Proteins foaming cleanser is recommended for drier skins since it can cause a slight breakout for acne-prone and oilier varities (even though the bottle says “suitable for all skin types”). Best of all, we love the travel-sized shower gels in summery fragrances of Jasmine, Guava, Fig and Basil.

Right now, there’s a sale going on Korres.com. BeautyStat readers will get 30% OFF all purchases when you enter the code Butterfly upon checkout (valid until December 30th). We also LOVE the travel kits on sale on the site, so make sure you check them out.

Got milk? Well, now you do!
