Review, Before/After Photos: Korean Brand Skinmiso Pore Beauty Nose Pack – How To Get Rid Of Blackheads

I hate blackheads! They’re stubborn, annoying and, most of all, obviously noticeable — especially on your nose. Ever look at a baby’s nose? It’s pristine. Not a blemish on it. But, as we age, our pores get clogged with oil and dirt. In Asian countries getting rid of blackheads around one’s nose and chin is a big thing! They often refer to a blackhead ridden nose as a “strawberry nose” (get the reference, no? Take a look at a strawberry and all those seeds… there we go!).

Before

Believe me, my blackheads are darker than that!

Korean cosmetic and skincare distributor Wishtrend.com sent over some products for me to try. And one of the products was Skinmiso’s Pore Beauty Nose Pack ($21.99) and Comedo Remover ($14.99). This is a three step blackhead removing system specifically designed for your nose.

Step 1

The first step consists of a nose pack (10 strips are included for each step) that is soaked in a light, astringent-like liquid. It smelled really refreshing, like a less potent-smelling witch hazel. After washing my face I put the strip on my nose and left it on for ten minutes. It felt cool and I could feel my pores loosening open. Once the ten minutes were up, I removed the patch and saw that ALL of my blackheads had come to the surface.

Now, this is the fun part: you can either take a cotton swab and remove all the sebum, or, you can use the Comedo Remover extractor to push them out! Unlike other nose packs there is no adhesive to these strips. Those nose strips are usually really aggravating to the skin and can cause serious skin damage. This entire system alleviates the sebum trapped in your pores without causing any redness or irritation. Win! And, using the extractor makes you feel like a professional dermatologist. It is sturdy, comes with its own steel case and has a beautiful etched design on the handle. Truly a skincare tool that you will have for years to come.

Step 2

Once you have extracted your blackheads and marveled at your almost-clear-of-gunk nose, it is time to put on the second strip. This one is also soaked in a much denser liquid. The strips stay on your nose pretty securely — so, you can walk around and go about your business without having to worry about it falling off. After ten minutes, your nose will be clean and clear. You might feel a little bit of a tingling sensation, but that’s just all the good plant derived ingredients getting deep down into the pores you just gently opened. No more blackheads! The directions advise you to let the residue from the second strip soak into your skin. After that, you are to put on a few drops of the gel-like Silky Essence, which is your third and final step.

This stuff will soak up any remaining oil, leaving your nose extremely matte and smooth. It really ‘sealed’ the deal! I loved this stuff, and will probably use it as a primer for my nose before applying my makeup as well. I couldn’t stop starring at my nose the entire night. It looked and felt clean.

After

Now, not ALL of my blackheads are gone, but with continued use once a week, I have a feeling I’ll be saying ‘goodbye’ to my “strawberry nose” and ‘hello’ to my baby-like skin once again. You can find out more about this product with more before and after photos at Wishtrend.com.

Heck yes I’d try this product. I’ve used Biore in the past but think this might actually work better – I like how it has 3 steps – it’s as if the 3 rd step seals the nose until we open it with next treatment as compared to the other where I feel my nose is left open to more dirt. Thank you for sharing. How much will this cost in the stores?

I would love to try these. I have tried other strips only to have them remove skin from my nose. These look much easier to use.

I would totally try this! I hate how hard it is to get rid of blackheads .

I honestly see no improvement in your before/after pictures.
