La Prairie is kind of like the Hermès of the cosmetics world — a super high-end brand with gorgeous packaging and prices in the stratosphere.
The latest Anti-Aging Eye And Lip Perfection A Porter ($150.00) is a two-in-one product that combines an “illuminating, lifting eye cream-gel with a luxurious and protective lip balm in a single compact.”
The sleek, silver compact comes in a classy, white leatherette case; altogether it’s a pretty attractive package. The eye cream claims to, “hydrate while instantly easing signs of fatigue, lines, wrinkles and dark circles.”
I used it several times and while it is rich and nicely emollient for that delicate under eye area, I can’t say I saw a difference in terms of fatigue, lines, wrinkles or dark circles.
Eye Cream
The lip treatment claims to, “immediately plump lips while replenishing moisture.” I’d say ‘Yes’ to the latter — lips felt soft and smooth after applying the balm — but I did not notice any fullness.
Our Managing Editor, Theresa Romano, also got her hands on the Anti-Aging Eye And Lip Perfection A Porter and had this to say:

Lip Treatment
After putting on eye cream in the morning, I never feel the need to reapply (though La Prairie says it can be used over makeup.) And while I liked the lip balm, a simple pot or tube would do as well and be less cumbersome (to me at least).
As for the white case — utterly darling! Some may find it ideal for travel, and find its practicality to be somewhat luxe. So, even though this combo is as chicly designed as can be, I find its contents to do an adequate job at moisturizing. If you are all about packaging, then this is the product for you.

Posted at 17:30h, 11 OctoberI am a package girl not going to lie and it also appeals to me because in my “life” there is no way I will get to try La Prairie I would take it and run 😀 I am also about to be 30 so I need to start having a real sense of using products and it so happens that my under eyes and lips both need a lot of tlc I have more baggage then LV under my eyes and my lips are fine now but only because I use my EOS about 5 times a day although I have never used eye cream more then 2 times (morning/night) I would love this <3 xoxox

Posted at 03:39h, 12 OctoberGreat idea the two in one especially for the areas of the face that need the most tlc well at least for me. I carry and have lip treatment products in my purse and around the house, my lips are thin but very dry so I need to keep them looking moisturized. As for eye cream I do apply it in the morning and than again at night but because I haven’t found one that either isn’t to oily or irritating I need to apply it only twice a day while in between those hours the eye area gets dry and makes my concealer crease. I would love to find an eye cream that I could either reapply without irritation or one that is moisturizing enough without being oily to use twice a day, I wonder if this might be the product to do that?!
