Our loyal BeautyStat writer Nicole Gordon Levine — with the best-looking nails, ever! — continues her series of reviews of Sephora brands showcasing their new products for the summer from the first-ever Sephora Summer Beauty Fair. Nicole attended the event to keep all of us beautynistas up-to-date with the latest and greatest products soon to hit the shelves! Read on to see what Nicole had to learn about some of the new products Caudalie is launching:

This summer, let’s make sure to take great care of our skin with some vino-infused skin care from the French luxury brand Caudalie — a brand I have been accustomed to using, testing and sniffing at Sephora before. I had to ask the demonstrator to repeat what I thought she had mentioned regarding their new Organic Grape Water ($8.00): One spray gives you 127% increase in hydration and a 61% reduction in sensitivity. My jaw must have hit the floor because those types of numbers make you wonder if what they claim really is true; I can tell you that the spray is soothing and the scent, addicting.

My skin felt more supple to the touch and also looked refreshed. The Vinosource line was launched with five tailor-made products as well. The product with the most buzz was the Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum ($48.00) designed to infuse hydration into any skin type. It’s a plant-based moisture surge to be used as a daily treatment, or when your skin is in a dry state of emergency. It is oil-free, hypo-allergenic and non-comodogenic.

The other four products in this line include the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet ($38.00), Intense Moisture Rescue Cream ($38.00), Moisture Recovery Cream ($38.00) and Vinosource Moisturizing Matifying Fluid ($38.00). I have always liked these products and am anxious to try my sample of the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet, as it turns into water upon direct contact with the skin! I must mention that Caudalie’s Premier Cru Eye Set ($95.00) is a limited edition set and exclusive to Sephora only. The Vinoperfect Complexion Correcting Radiance Serum ($79.00), Premier Cru The Eye Cream ($95.00) and the grape Cleansing Water ($14.00) are included. For other details, kindly visit www.sephora.com as well as www.caudalie-usa.com.
