(Review & Photos) Votre Vu Launches Baby (Bebe) Duette Lip Balm and Hand Cream: Luxe Lips Framboise

There’s nothing I love more than a multitasking maven, and Votre Vu’s new Bebe Duette is a new addition to the Duette line that has already won several awards across the board. The two new petite versions of the beloved original Duette are the Luxe Lips (clear lip balm), and the Luxe Lips Framboise (Raspberry Moisturizing Lip Balm) that are paired with the hand creme.

The Bebe Duette is no bigger than the Android

This is a two-pack Bebe Duette that combines a luxurious lip balm and a rich, hydrating hand creme. This hand creme, it must be said, is a keeper. Last weekend when I was in Vail, Bebe Duette saved my hands from becoming parched and cracked (I had to keep it by the nightstand and used it sparingly, since a little goes a long way).

The Bebe Duette’s Luxe Lips lip balm is enclosed in the cap (and it comes with a mirror). Tres chic!

The lip balm is delicious and made with coconut oil, shea butter and beeswax to protect, soften and moisturize the lips. Plus, it also has UV filters — what’s not to love? The framboise (raspberry shade) flatters everyone, and is not too overpowering.

Both the clear and the framboise pair with the rich Tarte d’Amande (Almond Pie) hand cream, which nourishes and protects the skin through its ingredients of sunflower, grape seed and jojoba oils. One of my all-time favorite hand creams, I think the Votre Vu’s Tarte d’Amande rivals some of my favorite hand creams including Amala and Crabtree & Evelyn’s new Pomegranate line. One reason why Votre Vu’s hand cream stands out from others is its absorption rate into the skin. It practically melts into the hand, leaving zero residue or slickness.

The Bebe Duette duo retails $39.50 at Votre Vu.

Are you a Duette fan? Why or why not. And if you’re not partial to hand creams, what else do you use on your hands?

I like trying new hand cream products. I have not heard or tried this line. I have been using and liking L’occitone shea butter hand cream.
