With so many products out on the market today, you might not know EXACTLY how each and every anti-aging, brightening, hydrating, powerhouse blend of ingredients work. Never fear! BeautyStat is here to help you better understand some of the most important and good-for-your-skin ingredients out today. But right now, we’re talking about Truffles (Mushrooms).

Skin & Co Roma Truffle Therapy Boosting Anti-Aging Serum – Tell Us Your Beauty Love Story

Truffles, known for their musky, sensuous scent, are a rare and luxurious ingredient for enhancing many cooking recipes. But, truffles are great for your skin, too! They contain essential fatty acids, and when incorporated into beauty products, help to diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. They provide super hydration to skin and hair as well.

The extravagant scent of truffles is also found in fragrances. Truffles provide the essential ingredient for the skincare line, Skin & Co Roma and in fragrances by Tom Ford.

Great for all skin types, mushrooms are naturally high in vitamins A, C and D and antioxidants. When mushrooms are added to skincare formulations they provide anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. This natural ingredient helps fight acne, rosacea and eczema.

Truffles as ingredient in skincare sounds interesting who would of thought right?! Well now in these days of advance technology I guess we shouldn’t be surprised with what companies come up with, which I’m interested in trying out some of these products! Anything for great skin is what I say! 🙂

I have heard of Truffles, with cooking…Never, have I seen a picture of them!
It does make sense that they could have beneficial skin properties.
    Thanks, Cindi
