(Review) EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Creams

Do you find shaving as much of a chore as doing the dishes? Well, you shouldn’t, at all.

The new Evolution of Smooth (EOS) Ultra Moisturizing Shave Creams are non foaming and look as good as Pinkberry. It boosts the skin’s moisture levels and keeps it nice and smooth….long after your razor deed. It tries to be really good at preventing razor bumps too. In fragrances like pomegranate raspberry, cucumber melon and lavender jasmine, the new Ultra Moisturizing Shave Creams are pretty juicy. I sprung for the Lavender Jasmine. According to the label, the EOS shave cream can be used wet or dry. It is also packed with  soothing and moisturizing ingredients including aloe vera, oat, shea butter, and antioxidants Vitamin E and C.

Going for a wet shave I exfoliated first with Suki exfoliating body cleanser and slathered on the Lavender Jasmine shave cream. It’s super creamy and felt very moisturizing with no  lather. The consistency stays creamy and smooth and this lets the razor do its job. What I found is that it  actually stays on the skin instead of rinsing off the minute it hits water.

I think it’s also important to note that the antioxidants in this cream makes the skin look and feel radiantly healthy. The recyclable plastic bottle is ergonomically friendly, and not only does it look cute, it won’t leave a ring around your tub. We give this product two thumbs up for no tub watermarking.

The Lavender Jasmine fragrance seemed to linger on my skin which was an added plus. The bottle is a nice 7 oz dispenser that is easy to use in the shower with just a couple of quick pumps. This is super convenient. EOS Shave Creams are easy to find at your local CVS, Duane Reade stores and many others for  about $3.49 a bottle. A song of a price for a truly great shower experience.

I don’t like this product! The shaving cream clogs my razor and I need to rinse it out after every time I run it on the area I’m shaving. The bottle is the worst. I need to remove the pump in order to get the product from the bottom! It’s ok but not a great product! Thanks
