I know a lot of brands, but certainly not all. PATYKA was a new brand name to me. From the way it was packaged, down to the detailed website — everything about PATYKA looked magnificent. I am a VP of a marketing company by day and appreciate the work that goes into a product’s branding identity. Très chic! I learned it was a Parisian brand and it offered triple excellence and was refined, efficient and ethical by using natural ointments and plants with exceptional properties. They offer a holistic range of daily skin care products because of this.
It started in the 1920’s when Paris was the center of both art and fashion. In 1922 when an uncommon oil, otherwise known as Neroli oil, appeared on the vanities and faces of the most affluent Parisian women. This 100% natural oil was researched back to a Hungarian apothecary, whose creation dates back to early last century. This oil was sought out and was said to achieve radiant beauty under refined makeup. This 100% natural oil was rediscovered in the early 2000s, and with new technology and fine tuning, this body lotion was born.
Absolis PATYKA Neroli Lait Corps/ Body Lotion ($55.00) has a scent that enveloped my senses from the minute I put it onto my skin. Paris and beautiful flowers came to mind immediately as I applied this soft and lightweight lotion to my body. I wanted to bathe in it. It contains a stimulating perfume that leaves the skin with a veil of moisture and hydration. Neroli is an essential oil that is known to be well tolerated by all skin types — even the most sensitive of skin feels soothed and well-toned.
There is also sesame in this body lotion as it’s known to easily penetrate the skin, taking all of the active substances contained in the product. It also restructures the skin’s tissue and ensures the most effective hydration.
PATYKA Biokaliftin Radiant Eye Contour / Contour Des Yeux Eclat ($85.00) was designed for the demanding eye contour region to correct signs of aging and dispel fatigue, leaving you with a radiant glow. It contains Gotu Kola, which acts as a firming agent and boosts collagen and also tightens the tissue and elasticity of the skin. It also contains Beech Bud Extract which is known to prevent skin aging and significantly boosts moisture levels in the skin; Camomile stimulates the skin and sooth it instantly upon application.
Inside the packaging, which opens like a flower, in many languages reads“My beauty is a work of art…My well-being stems from an approach that rids me of any complexes and respects me and my environment…” It also states that “PATYKA has invented Beaute Remaquable (Remarkable Beauty) for me…This is my story.”
