09 Dec Review: Sonia Kashuk Bath & Body Collection – Pink Innocencia Body Butter, Red Promisia Hand Crème
With the cold winter months heading our way, it is important to keep your skin hydrated. With the NEW bath and body products from Sonia Kashuk, you can achieve soft, supple and incredibly fragrant skin for a very fair and affordable price!
The two products I was able to test out were the Pink Innocencia Body Butter ($10.99) and the Red Promisia Hand Crème ($6.99), available at Target. There are several other new items out in the Sonia Kashuk Bath & Body Collection including: Eau De Toilette Sprays, Crème Body Washes, Shower Gels, Body Lotions, Body Oils, Exfoliating Body Polishes and much more!
I will start off with the Red Promisia Hand Crème. With this product, you will receive 2 fl. oz. of hand crème. This product claims to be non-greasy and non-sticky, with moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, vitamin E, aloe vera and botanical oils.
The formula claims to heal, provide hydration and protect against the drying elements — all while absorbing into skin quickly. I find this to be absolutely true! I love the fact that this hand crème is on the thicker side. It doesn’t feel watery in the least. It leaves a very wonderful, light floral scent on your hands as well.
I find that this is something easy to throw in my purse and keep for on-the-go hand moisturizing. I do find that immediately after applying it, and for a few minutes thereafter, my hands are slightly greasy. But as soon as the product absorbs into the skin that feeling is gone.
I love that about this hand crème, because often times I find that when I use hand lotions, I usually want to wash my hands because I can’t stand the greasy feeling that comes along with it. As for the scent, the notes included are jasmine, sandalwood and vanilla. I find this to be a great scent for the fall and even the summer: It isn’t too heavy, but the scent lingers for quite some time.
As for the Pink Innocencia Body Butter, this is definitely my favorite out of the two that I’ve tried! This product contains 6.7 fl. oz., so you are getting a typical amount of body butter for a low price.
This product claims to give a richer-than-rich body treatment that will melt into the skin, locking-in moisture quickly. It claims to leave skin feeling satin-soft and smooth, containing shea butter, illipe butter and skin-protecting botanicals including, Edelweiss flower, white tea extracts, and aloe vera.
It’s not super-thick like most body butters, but it’s thick enough so that if you turn the tub upside down, it will not drip out. It soaks into your skin rather quickly and does not transfer any oil to your clothes.
I used this in the morning after my shower and at night after my bath. I completely love the way this smells and makes my skin feel. As for the scent, the notes are tuberose, amber and magnolia. I am generally not a fan of floral scents, but I think Sonia Kashuk scored with this one!
I find that most rose or floral-smelling things leave me with a headache. This one is absolutely amazing! I would recommend this to all girls!
The scent lingers all day. It was pretty noticeable for the first half of my day; I have worn this and walked past someone and received compliments on the perfume I was wearing — but I wasn’t wearing any, only this body butter! For the remainder of the day, it is noticeable if you are smelling your skin closely. I would definitely repurchase this and I am curious as to what the other scents smell like!

I haven’t tried these but the ones I have used have.. my hands are always so dry and cracked blame it on age or the fact that I don’t wear protective gloves when doing house chores but finding the right hand cream has been a challenge!! Great review
