Paris Fashion Week A/W 13 has become a thing of the past, but the styles showcased on the Parisian runways were designed to see us straight through to autumn. And with summer almost coming to an end, now we can try some of the most popular hairstyles and cuts from the shows!

Many designer hairstyles probably won’t be spotted on the streets, but, some were totally wearable and can be easily created at home using everyday products.

Here’s the top styles spotted this season. If you feel tempted to try any of them, head on over to Capital Hair & Beauty to take advantage of their full range of catwalk quality hair styling products!

The swinging ‘60s and ‘70s reared their perfectly coiffed heads once again in Paris, as  several designers sent beehives soaring down the runways. Brows were equally big to match — and so was hair, accessorized with chunky barrettes to make a bold statement.

Pixie Crops: Maxime Simoens

The pixie, it seems, will always be around in one form or another (just look at Beyoncé and her new short hairdo)! For Autumn/Winter 2013, stylists have gone back to a sleek, perfectly groomed, side-swept short cut with an elfin vibe.

Check out PHOTOS and get STEP-BY-STEP instructions on how to create these hair looks from New York Fashion Week A/W 2013: Chignons, Edgy Faux-Fringe Updos, Textured Bangs, Sleek-Straight Looks —> HERE!

Pair this look with sheer fabric and embroidery for an ethereal look, or team with a faultless blazer and soaring heels for a style which works equally well in the office or at a party.

Parisian Chic: Chloé

Slicked-back hairdos have also been around for a while, but every season they receive a fresh new update. This year, hair is parted at the side and slicked over and back to create a perfectly polished final look, which is perfectly complimented by fresh, dewy skin, neutral eyeshadow and studiously unkempt eyebrows.

Beautiful Braids: Iris van Herpen

Braids are this season’s force to be reckoned with! A hot trend for summer, they’ve also been tipped to continue in popularity well into autumn and winter. But braids have come a long way since its one-long-ponytail days.

Stylists have been braiding hair upwards, sideways and into the sky; twisting several braids into each other for a dramatic look, or weaving loose braids into long, flowing waves for a romantic result which is as striking as it is soft.

Tantalizing Twists: Jean Paul Gaultier

The word on the runway is that twists are tipped to be the new braids! And while braids are getting looser and more daring, twists are being incorporated into chic chignons and classic updos, as part of a futuristic trend which is totally taking over the catwalks.

Now that fall is fast approaching, which of these styles inspired from Paris Fashion Week will you be rocking this season, beautynistas?
