If you were watching the Grammys last night, then you might have seen those X-rated Herbal Essences commercials. We all know that Herbal Essences makes us say, “Yes, Yes, YES!”, but with this new #GetNaked campaign daring us to bare our purest most healthy hair yet, things are going to get a little more risqué.

With 0% heavy residues, parabens and dyes, this line will restore 100% of your hair’s natural body — and your strands will feel revitalized and refreshed. A simple notion that requires a lot less additives and a whole lot more of pure ingredients.

In the commercial, clean, bouncy, residue-free hair was pixelated do to stark naked hair. Put a scrunchie on at least!

The new line comes in 3 collections — Volume, Moisture and Shine — with a mint-inspired experience you can smell as soon as you open the bottle.

The Naked Volume Collection gives hair light, touchable volume with the invigorating scent of white grapefruit that includes a Shampoo, Conditioner, Dry Shampoo, Fexible Hold Spray and Volumizing Souffle.

The Naked Moisture Collection provides lightweight hydration with a stimulating herbal and mint infusion for sensationally smooth hair. It includes a Shampoo, Conditioner and Cleansing Conditioner.

The Naked Shine Collection protects your strands and controls frizz for a long-lasting smooth finish. It includes a Shampoo, Conditioner and Shine Mist.

My hair definitely felt lighter and more bouncy. My scalp felt thoroughly clean with no oily residue to worry about. All the shampoos clarify without stripping hair of any essential oils — rather, they are probably being put back in with this invigorating complex of plant extracts.

The Volume Dry Shampoo has to be my favorite product! No more powdery messes or Marie Antoinette hair! This sprays clear and leaves your hair feeling touchable and lightweight. It doesn’t even feel like you’ve added another layer of hair product. Just clean hair!

WARNING! EXPLICIT NAKED HAIR PHOTOS!

I also enjoyed the Moisture Cleansing Conditioner for a low-lather cleansing experience. It’s a 2-in-1 product that combines the conditioning properties of a nourishing oil while gently removing dirt and oil. I use this once a week to take a break from regular shampoo and conditioner. And my tangles have been a lot easier to manage since using this new haircare line. The Shine Sheer Shine Mist won’t weigh down hair either, and acts as a heat protectant before blow-drying.

    Absolutely. 🙂

I think I’ll end up trying the Shine collection; but a close second is the Moisture collection.

    Take care
