I always enjoy trying out new hair products! I’m always on the hunt for the next best hair product that is going to make my hair super soft, sleek, and shiny, while leaving behind a scent that really lingers throughout the day. I recently put some Frederic Fekkai products to the test and I’m happy to report that they are phenomenal!

The One by Frederic Fekkai | The Universal One Everyday Shampoo & Conditioner | $28.00/8.5 oz.

This high-performance shampoo and conditioner is formulated with nutrient-rich French Sea Heather to help protect hair against daily environmental damage. Hair feels more hydrated with touchable softness and glossing shine. Frederic Fekkai’s exclusive marine technology helps transform hair from the inside out by protecting against external pollutants. These products are suitable for all hair types, including color-treated hair. They are also paraben and sulfate free!

I have very long, thick, and somewhat dry hair. To start with, both of these products have the same scent: light, fresh, clean, and slightly floral. The shampoo lathers very nicely, leaving behind a great clean feeling, without stripping the hair of its moisture. The conditioner is on the lighter side. I typically need to use a heavier conditioner, but not too heavy, in order to restore moisture back into my hair. However, the conditioner still packed a punch and left my hair feeling smooth and silky. These two products together gave my hair great shine. They are on the pricier side, so for me, this is more of a splurge product, but I definitely fell in love with them.

The One by Frederic Fekkai | One Up Lift and Volume Spray | $29.00/5.0 oz

One Up high-performance Lift and Volume spray instantly starts working to boost any style. Hair feels lifted and voluminous, with natural movement and touchable softness. Frederic Fekkai’s exclusive marine technology helps transform hair from the inside out by protecting against external pollutants. This product is also suitable for all hair types, including color-treated hair, and is paraben free.

Before using, you want to make sure to give the bottle a good shake. Spray a generous amount from roots to mid-shaft to add volume and lift. For ultimate volume, dry the roots of your hair first, then blow dry with a brush and style as desired. I like to spray this in the roots, sort of as you would a dry shampoo (although they are not the same product), flip my hair over, tussle it around a little bit and leave it that way! It certainly works with styling with heat and even teasing as well. Definitely an effective product and I didn’t find that it left behind any weird flakiness or anything of that kind.
