Nicole wearing  Cyprus Lilac Cheetah

Our loyal BeautyStat writer Nicole Gordon Levine — with the best-looking nails, ever! — continues her review series of the Sephora brands showcasing some of their new products for the summer from the first-ever Sephora Summer Beauty Fair. Nicole attended the event to keep all of us beautynistas up-to-date with the latest and greatest products soon to hit the shelves! Read on to see what Nicole had to learn about some of the new products Sultra is launching:

We’re wrapping up this review series with some hair talk, ladies! As the fashion shows showed us, colored accents were all the rage, especially found in hair! Sultra’s Artistic Director Omar Lopez gave my blonde hair a boost by adding two solid lilac extensions with a mere clip! All Omar did was open the snap clip, close the snap clip and voilà! I had lilac extensions that blended in with my hair as if it were my own. I have a nine-year-old daughter that I have used many extensions on and none were as fine as these Solid Extensions! For $22.00, there is such a variety of colors to choose from including Cheetah Extensions.

You can mix and match the solids and cheetah strips — and in June, Sultra will come out with the Hair Palette Color Hair Mascara that keeps its bold hues on the darkest of hair! That in itself says a lot to me as pigments can be lost on brunettes. The mascara-like wands can also leave the hair flaky or sticky, yet these Color Hair Mascara wands were amazing and soft-to-the-touch.

Their staying power lasts up to two days, even after brushing. Solid colors available include Capri Coral, Royal Violet, Lapis Blue and Ultra Pink. These will be sold exclusively at Sephora stores and Sephora.com ONLY. Same goes for their clip in Extensions as well. They also introduced both The Bombshell 1 Inch Curling Iron ($130.00) and The Seductress: Curl, Wave & Straight One-Inch Iron ($210.00) that are available at Nordstrom stores, Sephora, Sephora.com, Brookstone.com and Sultra.com. Every Sultra iron features the standards of durable construction; rapid heat-up; an auto shut-off safety switch; provides lightweight, heat resistant body; nine foot, no-tangle swivel cord; complimentary iron pad and two year warranty.

The products at Sephora are continuing to grow and it is quickly becoming my go-to beauty store. They carry well-known brands as well as introducing new ones — Sephora is always in a constant state of excitement! It has now become a daily ritual for me to browse the site as I feel as if I see and learn something new with each passing day! So, are you guys ready for summer or what?

I love those extensions – I will be getting some myself!

Have you ever tried I&K hair extensions? I found I&K hair extensions to be of good quality. They’re 100% human hair so perfect for styling! They’re sold at Hairtrade
