Besides a Versace Couture denim dress that screamed Britney circa 2001, Katy Perry‘s VMA look was quintessential Katy — bright red lips, black liquid liner and big lashes. Celebrity Makeup Artist Jake Bailey began her eye makeup by blending a warm brown shadow, like COVERGIRL Flamed Out Shadow Pot in Scorching Cocoa into the crease of her eyelids and a pearlescent white shadow (Flamed Out Shadow Pot in Blazing White) onto her eyelid and brow bone for highlights. He also dusted some of that same pearlescent shadow onto the ridge of her cheekbones for an extra glow. A sharp jet black cat-eye was created with the COVERGIRL Bombshell Intensity Liner and several coats of Bombshell Volume Mascara.

Iggy Azalea dominated the red carpet with a slicked back, smooth and sleek style that complemented her custom metallic Versace gown. This year Gwen Stefani showed us the side of her we all know so well with her vintage wave and victory roll. Use Mark Hill Gorgeous! Work it Girl Spray evenly through your hair and curl for loose waves. For that victory roll, take your front section and clasp in the curling iron, rolling away from the face; when you release the hair after a few seconds, you want to keep hold of the hair in the little circular roll it falls off the curler in. Grab your bobby pins and select the best area at the front of the head where you will feel comfortable for this roll to sit securely.

Ariana Grande knows the power of the pony! Wash hair as you normally would and get ready to create a high ponytail! Once you are ready to pony up, grab an elastic and a large paddle brush. Onto your brush spray Gorgeous! Fabulous Finish Hairspray, this helps grab the hairs into place whilst you’re creating your style! Find your perfect pony position and secure with an elastic.
Grab a segment of hair to wrap around and cover the elastic, or, you may want to hit the shops and find a ponytail cuff that clip over the elastic. Finish with Defrizz-ilicious Bedazzled Anti Humidity Shine Spray to add that extra shine to your finished look.

Taylor Swift looks as if she’s breaking the mold; sticking to waves but in a much more undefined, messy style with short hair. For starters, blow-dry hair using a large round brush to create maximum volume! Spritz on some Viva La Volume Blow Dry Mousse at the roots to help with lift. Taking a curling iron, roughly wand through the hair for a messy, disheveled wave. Leave the waves to set for a few minutes before using your hands to really get in there and break up the curls. Once you feel you are done, secure with some Gorgeous! Fabulous Finish Hairspray and a spritz of Defrizz-ilicious Bedazzled Anti Humidity Shine Spray to get that sheen!

Miss Nicki Minaj gave us glamorous waves last night, something we’re sure Marilyn Monroe would be proud of! After blow-drying hair, add a side part and grab your curling iron! Use Gorgeous! Work it Girl Spray on each section; you are going to go around the head of the iron and move the hair forward rather than away from your face. Continue this all around the head from one ear to the other. When this is achieved, allow the hair to cool and grab your comb in preparation to comb out the waves – curl each just once, or to your liking of how you want your style to look. Use Defrizz-ilicious Bedazzled Anti Humidity Shine Spray and Gorgeous! Fabulous Finish Hairspray again to add shine and hold the style.
