Review: Make Up For Ever Launches Lab Shine Collection

We’re more than slightly obsessed about Make Up For Ever here. I mean, with the launch of their Aqua Creams in 2010 and their Rouge Artist lipsticks that have more staying power than the Beatles, which beauty junkie could possibly complain about a lack of pigment-rich makeup, ever again?

Well, it seems that the company is all set to break new records with their new Lab Shine Collection that just launched in Sephora. Lab Shine boasts 35 new glosses spread across three gloss-defining categories: Star, Diamond and Metal. Good things always come in three’s, right?

The Diamond collection includes 12 shades for a sparkling and sheer coverage; the Star collection has 14 shades with a pearly shine for a medium coverage; and the Metal collection has nine shades that have an intense, full coverage.

If you have a darker complexion, I would veer toward the Metal colors of Chrome Sienna (M12), Chrome Morello Cherry (M10) or a lovely rosy mocha like the Chrome Hazel Brown (M6).

We will be vlogging about these three collections soon, so stay tuned. But perhaps you’ve gotten your hands on these already? At $18 a pop, they’re affordable because of their value — a long-lasting lip gloss simply MUST be a pocketbook mainstay, right?

I can’t wait to try these, I’ve been eyeing them forever!! I want to look at colors in person next time I stop by Sephora.

I want to try them, but with my streak of losing lipglosses and sticks, I’d hate to shell out $18 and then lose it
