As I mentioned, the packaging is earth friendly. It is composed of 100% post consumer ecological material, using vegetable ink, to create a sustainable lifestyle for a better planet. Sweet LeiLani Cosmetics are also highly recognized in the medical community by cancer/burn/trauma surgeons along with the celiac community. There is quite an extensive “About Us” page on their website, so I would encourage you to go read more about them!
Now, let’s take a look at the products… (Note that all prices were taken from their website, which is listed in CAD.)

These powders go beyond setting foundation to deliver plant-based ingredients that nourish the skin while balancing oils and skin PH levels. They contain silky, light-reflective optical diffusing minerals. The universal shades correct and balance the skin’s complexion while minimizing skin imperfections. You can use them alone or to set foundation.

I really love these powders! I think these are my favorite item out of the bunch. I loved using the Hawaiian Highlight powder in the shade Sky under my eyes. It’s the perfect touch to offer a bit of brightness, and you can really see the light-reflecting properties of it once it’s onto the skin. I used the Island Radiance powder in the shade Surf to lightly contour and bronze my skin. I set my foundation with the Camera Ready powder in Sea to lock my look in place. The powders didn’t cling onto any dry patches on my skin and they absorbed oils throughout the day nicely. They appear light on the skin, not cakey at all.
The Island Eyes Mudshark Mascara offers a buildable formula for long, lush, flirty, and fabulous lashes. It contains provitamin B5 and coconut oil that bind to the lashes to plump while rapidly absorbing to give deep hydration, conditioning, and hold moisture. The formula is also enriched with rosehip, green tea, and grapeseed to nourish. Sweet LeiLani Cosmetics also says that the black, glossy richness of the mascara would allow you to use it as a liquid liner (you’ll just need an angled brush to apply) and that the formula is ideal for contact lenses and sensitive eyes.
The Purely Tinted Moisturizer is a sheer, airy, lightweight water-based product that nourishes the skin with essential vitamins. It is infused with green tea, rosehip, and grapeseed. It aims to counter balance the appearance of redness, even out the skin tone, and leave a subtle luminous glow all while boosting collagen production.

It comes in three shades: Naked (ivory/fair), Beach Glow (light to medium with light golden undertones), and Tanned (medium to tan with olive undertones). The shade that I have is Tanned. Unfortunately, it is too dark for me, as I am a fair skin tone, but the formula does blend into the skin nicely. It offers light coverage. If you’re into natural makeup, you would probably want to opt for the tinted moisturizer over the foundation.
This primer contains plant derived extracts to create a multi-action formula that when blended together, acts as an instant filter, creating a diffused, soft-focused radiance that blurs flaws and shrinks pores. The lightweight, whipped veil is a carrier of nutrients like cucumber, to tighten pores and reduce dark circles. It also contains white tea which replenishes firmness and repairs sun damage. It contains coconut oil as well, a tropical treasure for anti-aging and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid boosts collagen, increases moisture, and leaves skin feeling refreshed and glowing. Use this product before your makeup to reduce fine lines, redness, and even your skin tone.

The primer appears to be a tan shade when you squeeze it out of the tube, but don’t worry as it rubs into the skin and goes on clear. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. It does blur your pores, leaving the perfect canvas to apply foundation on top of. It also helps in the longevity of your foundation wear. This is a nice primer. I enjoyed it!
This product is a whipped marshmallow skin treatment that works while you sleep. It is filled with strong natural anti-oxidants that kill bacteria, allowing a breathable barrier over the effected area. It’s loaded with anti-inflammatory benefits as well, like cucumber, which decreases water retention and reduces puffy eyes. Witch hazel aids in calming acne and itchy skin from bug bites, sunburn, psoriasis, and eczema. Hyaluronic acid boosts collagen and elasticity.

I haven’t been using this product long enough to speak to the long-term benefits. However, it makes my skin feel nice and smooth when applied. I’ll need to play around with this product more, but I even used it sort of as an “under eye” primer before applying makeup, and I really enjoyed using it that way, too.
This liquid foundation goes beyond a foundation. It aids in minimizing flaws, reducing excess shine, diminishing fine lines, and evening out skin tone. It’s designed to give an airbrushed finish and contains light reflective optically diffusing minerals that burst to a powder to control oil and minimize pores.

This foundation comes in five shades: Ocean Surf (ivory with warm tones), Sand Bar (medium beige tones), Nude Beach (golden warm tones), Sand & Sea (honey beige tones), and Sea Breeze (tanned, ethnic background). The shade I have is Sand & Sea, which is far too dark for me. However, I could feel the liquid-to-powder finish when I rubbed it onto my arm. It appears to offer a medium coverage that is buildable without looking heavy on the skin.
This skin treatment protects and performs like a second skin. The waterproof, opaque formula not only conceals dark circles, rosacea, eczema, acne, and tattoos, but will conceal medical conditions and scarring. It’s infused with green tea, rosehip, and grapeseed to increase oxygen and aids in the healing of damaged or blemished skin, as well as radiation burns.

First of all, this cleanser smells amazing. It has a citrus scent and I just love it. Using it in the morning, it’s definitely an invigorating product. I used it at night and like it just as much then. It’s light and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped of moisture. It also removes any last traces of makeup from the day perfectly. I adore this product! Definitely a 5 star product.
This moisturizer detoxifies, energizes, and boosts cell turnover to remove dead skin cells and improve the quality of your skin. It’s suitable for sensitive skin and aids in the treatment of rashes and eczema, too. It provides incredible results for burned and scarred skin or for cancer patients undergoing treatment who suffer from radiation burns.

This moisturizer has the same amazing smell as the cleanser previously mentioned – so I loved that at first whiff! It’s not too thick and heavy, but not too light that it doesn’t provide enough moisture. I find that this product can be used both day and night, and be equally as effective. It’s great at healing up dry patches on the skin, and you can even use it on other parts of your body. I look forward to seeing some long-term benefits from using this product!
