When it comes to budget-friendly skincare that really works, I can always count on Garnier. I’ve tried several items from their skincare line over the years and have never been disappointed.   When I tried the brand’s new Garnier Clean+ line, the products made my skin feel soft, smooth and radiant all within the first 10 days of use.

Just a little backstory: my skin is painfully unpredictable and acne-prone. One minute it’s glowing and clear and the next I have breakouts, or I’ll notice very small patches of dry skin, which is a side effect from using my acne products. The great thing about the Garnier Clean+ Collection is that it contains items that are each specially designed to suit all of my skin’s wacky mood swings.

For mornings, I loved using the Smoothing Cream Cleanser, which is suited for dry skin. I live on the East Coast and this Polar Vortex has not been nice to my skin at all. My nose and under eye area has been especially dry lately, despite all that cream I use. I loved this creamy cleanser because it made my skin feel less dry during the daytime, when I tend to be exposed to the cold air with single-digit temps during my commute and walk to work. Best of all, the formula is soap-free, so I don’t have to worry about my acne-prone skin reacting to harsh cleansing agents.

In the evenings, I found that I loved the Balancing Daily Exfoliator. This cleanser is infused with very fine beads that felt so good after a long day at the office. It was like a mini-massage on my skin, and the texture added just the right amount of exfoliation to help wash off my makeup. This formula is for combination skin, so while it cleans thoroughly, my skin never felt stripped or too dry. I tried the cleanser with both my hands only and also with my Clarisonic Skin Brush for added benefits.

I teach spinning classes 3 days a week, and I’m very strict about washing my face after each class before I leave the gym. I loved using the Shine Control Cleansing Gel, which is specifically for oily skin, right after my workouts.

DID YOU KNOW? Sweat contains salt and when we perspire, sweat mixes with bacteria that sits on the surface of our skin. Gross! During intense workouts, our skin temperature rises and our pores open, which means that not only does sweat come out, but bacteria and oils can go back into the skin. This cleanser got every trace of sweat and build-up off my skin, so my pores would stay nice and clog-free. The gel also contains charcoal, which is known for drawing out impurities, which I loved.

No matter what your skin type, texture or concern, the Garnier Clean+ line is sure to have something for you. And at only $7.99 per tube, you’ll feel good about mixing and matching your regimen without breaking the bank! #winning

I would love to try the Daily Balancing Exfoliator to get rid of dead skin cells.
