According to L’Oréal, this newly formulated Ideal Moisture Even Tone Day/Night Cream ($6.99) “works day and night to leave skin with a more even tone and texture.” The unique formula is infused with time-release vitamin C and tourmaline gem, which are added to “help even skin tone and recapture your skin’s clarity.”

L’Oréal promises that skin will immediately feel softer, smoother and fresher, and that after four weeks, skintone will be more even and skin texture visibly smoother. This product is also oil-free and dermatologist tested for gentleness.

I used this product twice daily for several weeks. Right off the bat, I loved the pale, lilac color and gentle fragrance. I also liked the light, creamy formula that sunk right into my skin. It took a while to see results, but when I did, I was very pleased.

It really did help even out my skintone, but it was an excellent base for foundation, blush, bronzer, and/or face powder — my skin was neither too dry nor too greasy to accept other products. Because it has no SPF, you will still need a product that provides sun protection. But, this is a great all-around day/night cream at a super price.

I’d like a sample! Would this work on dark marks left by acne?

Yes I am looking for an even skin tone. I suffered from acne as a teen and now have dark spots from popping them.
